DELANEY LAUX

A book cover design based on the children's book Jack and Jill. The design direction was heavily influenced by pop art. I chose to do pop art because of the lively juvenile feeling it evokes. The moment of chaos is portrayed with the starbursts, which are meant to represent the spilled water. The children are looking at each other in disbelief at what has happened. It is an action packed piece, and one of my favorite to illustrate.
