QUARANZINE SUBMISSION
I think we can all agree that quarantine was a wild time that revolutionized the way we communicate. In the midst of navigating this transition, I was invited to submit a piece for a quarantine magazine, aptly titled Quaranzine. I wanted to hone in on the mayhem of communication, as we struggled to find our footing. I used juvenile, primary adjacent colors to signify the regression many experienced. I used the hands to show just how out of hand things were becoming. And I pulled text messages from my personal life to illustrate the realness of the madness. The messages have totally varied meanings, but they all evoke a sense of chaos, in good ways and bad. It was a real treat to document this specifically unruly time in history.
